... at the car we decided to move on to another walk, but when we got there it was closed. We then went somewhere else on the reserve where there was no available parking. We then drove around a bit and I happened to see a few bison through the fence line, so we stopped to look at them. There were a few baby bison that basically looked like calves, and one big guy walked right up to the fence line to stare at us. Whenever we moved the bison's eyes ...

... for dinner and ate at the Cattlemen's Fort Worth Steak House. This was the type of steak house we were looking for back in College Station. Peg had the T-bone with mushrooms and baked potato; I had the bone in Rib-Eye steak and backed potato. Wonderful food and service. This restaurant has been there since 1947.

Today's drive passed quickly in a blur of green as we left the deserts of TX and headed into the hill country. Passed by the skyline of Dallas and on into the farmlands of Arkansas--a lot of rice and soybeans. Also, miles & miles of highway in poor shape! We crossed many rivers, and I spotted what appeared to be, very marshy land, as well. There is NO shortage of water in the fine state of Arkansas. Perhaps they could sell some it to CA and use the money to improve their ...

... about, repositioning myself for it, and even making sense of it. In the past year, I have literally witnessed the hand of God in situations, I've seen the favor of God in operation even when it didn't make sense, I've experienced a new level of grace, I've seen things come literally full circle in my life, and had God encounters where I knew without a shadow of a doubt that God heard my prayers. All of those things brought me to where ...
