An aerial tramway was built from the mine to Guano Point on the South Rim, with the cable headhouse built on land leased from the Hualapai tribe. There were a few rock towers that people had built up there, and despite Hayley saying that it was taking all of her strength not to kick them over, we left them as they were. Elyse and Dad added to the little formation with their own ...
... Ferndale. This was the first time we had filled the tank and we were very happy that gas is a lot less expensive south of the 49th. We had lunch at the Smokey Point Rest Area then carried on. Stella used to spend every weekend at Tulalip Casino and I am pretty sure I felt her pulling to the right toward that exit. We had to remind her we would be in Vegas soon. Seattle traffic is always busy and hectic even on a Sunday but we made it to the Sea-Tac KOA in Kent right ...
