    ... and then drove to a place that supposedly had tubing. Like in Reno the place was closed. I don’t feel we have done enough activities so far and I don’t know if we have enough planned, I know this trip isn’t going to be as adventurous as the last but I don’t want to go home having only drank and looked at cities and parks. I suppose the car alone is something different though.

    ... finding some parking we wandered happily through the town. We got some pizza for the boys so that they could get to the scalextrix truck where there was a long track that they could race each other on. The food stalls were excellent - there was a huge variety and we happily tucked into various burritos and gyros. After a couple of hours we were ready to head home to check that the wine aerator was still working.

    Today was a special treat. Cathy and Gary Schneider drove us to Carson City to catch a steam train with the Virginia and Truckee Railroad to Virginia City. It was a special opening day on Memorial weekend and we enjoyed unlimited mimosas before we boarded the train. As a treat, we had this unbelievable ice-cream sandwich at the Nestle store. You pick your fresh cookie and then fill ice-cream between them. Very sinful.
