We decided to go to Tahoe using a Worldmark deal. We stayed the night in El Dorado with Robin on December 29th to help break up the drive. We left bright and early to drop JT off at Heavenly daycare and we went boarding. Well we happened to go on a day where it's Tahoes coldest and windiest. We only did a few runs because only 2 lifts were opened, Stagecoach and comet. The visibility was so bad and he wind was worse. When there was a gust of wind, it was impossible to see. It ...

... Tahoe's past earthquakes. We were able to manipulate a 3D sand topography model and create watersheds. We ended the tour with a lesson on watershed and water pollution followed by an interactive board game all about Lake Tahoe. As an adult with an environmental science background, I learned so much! Imagine what students could take away from an experience like this!

After leaving TCES, we stopped at a few beaches and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. ...

So, feeling extremely queasy we set off again to Lake Tahoe and passed by an Ironman competition. The road got absolutely stunning as we passed through tall pine forests and emerged with views of the lake. We drove around the West side ...

Jalen's 1st trip to Tahoe- Worst trip

Jalen's 1st trip to tahoe was horrible. We went through a timeshare offer and the resort was so bad we left 1 day early! We saw our presentation which was horrible experience and checked out early. The room was small, dingy and so outdated. No AC as well and it was hot. We went to the Lake which was nice and Jalen dipped his feet in for the 1st time. He wasn't a fan because it was too cold. ...

Nice drive around the entire lake

... buying anytime soon because I'm about US$2.8m short but its nice to dream. I've looked at the real estate and Tahoe is not that expensive if you stay away from water views. Everything 10-20mins by car back from the shore line is about 10-20% of the cost of waterfront homes or putting it another way, everything on the shorefront is 10x everything else.

Before going home, I wanted to make a quick stop at a shop that I saw ...
