We continued south along Hwy 7 then crossed over Into eastern upstate New York to catch the Taconic Trail just ...

... in a small town called Dummerston. Oh my gosh, who chose that name? What’s in a name? Well, can you imagine a person taking pride in graduating from the Dummerston High School. I think it would be embarrassing. People really need to think carefully when they name towns or their children! Even if it is to recognize a prominent citizen.

However, the campsite was nice and we enjoyed the stay and a short ...
