... life time. at least no foot fungas is afoot..HA!

it started with a river walk. 5 miles worth. there's been a lot of warnings re ticks for the last 5 days so all I could think about was "don't get a tick, don't get a tick" as we walked a narrow path enclosed on both sides with me high vegetation. I must have looked like a right moron with my arms held over my head to avoid any incidental brushings.

... a boring read doesn't it? besides, I don't think my feet would allow me to run anymore. I managed to get the blister sores to a point of bearing but frequent stops were made due to the set in of a fire sensation to the whole underside of my feet. these shoes really do suck.

all whining aside, the views of today's walk really were stunning. worth the effort ...

Elaine: after a good breakfast and a fond farewell to our new friends at Alexandra Hotel they set off, feeling tired and a bit sore from yesterday.
