Monday 25/5 - We had a nice leisurely day travelling today. We woke to rain which cleared to a light drizzle by the time we walked to the bus stop and then cleared altogether for the rest of the day. From the bus we then caught the skytrain into the city where we caught the Pacific Coach bus that would take us to Victoria. This was a 4 hour trip …

Our last day on the mighty Grand Princes, we headed off to the 15th floor for breakfast, our last one at sea. Most of the morning was taken up with tidying up bits and pieces and making sure everything was right for our disembarkation tomorrow morning. Lunch was a simple process, just a 2 course affair in the Da Vinci restaurant, and again beautiful, then the job of packing the 2suitcases. We all met up with Karen at 1500 for a final debrief, drinks, chat ...

... Even one about the sea shore, with sea birds sea lions etc.

At the same place is an IMAX cimema so just had to see a film telling the story of building the railway across the Rockies. They filmed a steam train (3816) going across in the same direction as we will in a couple of days and interspesed with pictures of the building of the railway. Very well done

... be a wise use of time.

Eventually departed an hour and a half late, so everybody on the plane was anxious. "Don't worry" we were told. "There's 50 of you with connections this morning." So that made it all ok. It's much better than just 2 people missing their connections.

We were all organised on arrival to hot foot it off the plane and run for our connection, but when it came to disembark, my bag had gone out of the overhead locker. "We'll look ...
