Whistler is certainly a hip-hop-happening place. Heaps of young folk enjoying those extreme sports that comprise' reckless endangerment'. Like downhill dirt-bike riding. And we're talking very STEEP downhill bike trails! Apparently, the dirt-bike riders take over the resort from the skiers in the summer. ... As we made our trek back towards the ship, we passed in front of the BC Legislative building and there was some sort of military presentation happening on the lawn. We watched front the sidewalk for a few minutes but ended up leaving as it wasn't clear what the occasion was commemorating.
