... was certainly still in the party mood. On Saturday the weather was surprisingly good and I spent the whole day strolling around Boston. ... border we fully expected to be paying duty on the amounts over our limits allowed to return to Canada but it seems my honest face convinced the customs officer to forego the duties and waved us through, despite being over by approximately $2000. It may have helped that we didn't have any alcohol or cigarettes to claim.

... C, then -25°C and continued until it peaked in early December with -35°C for few days . Many people had even -42°C overnight at the beginning of December. But ussually when is so cold, the sky is clear and the sun shines, though it does not provide much heat... Worse times occur when the days are cloudy , with snow and wind , then -20°C is ussually worse than those with -40°C.
