    To Harlingen as on the Dutch coast and close to Afsluitdijk where we planned to cross the following day. Even though a busy fishing village and ferry terminal, it still retained its old world charm and character. The "Bruine Vloot" is a traditional sailing fleet comprised of Klippers, Tjalks and Aken....... all double dutch to me, but absolutely fascinating.
