What the day lacked in life altering events it more than made up in rest and relaxation. As we approach the northern end of the Baltic we start a five day run of city tours, Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg for two days then Talin in Estonia, so today's sparse agenda was well timed!
... to remember the answer. It turns out the ladies were just filling in time waiting for the shop to reopen once we'd left port. Once it was open they were up and off. We found them an hour later, arms groaning with bounty from the store.
Tomorrow is a sea day, or as the kids think of it, the reason for coming on this boat. The were up later than usual, but tomorrow morning we're booked for a character breakfast at ungodly o'clock, guten nacht.
And sleep we did!
This was an easy day as we had room service for breakfast (coffee & Danish). Went to discuss the shore excursions and decided to keep the long St. Petersburg tour but did change the plans for Helsinki. We now will have a guided tour in Finland.
Took a break at the special coffee lounge at the ship's atrium. I was surprised that specialty coffees and water were an extra charge (but reasonable) even with the Dining Package. We did enjoy taking ...
