... the cut! =) We of course, graciously accepted her offering. It felt like getting a medal for being "most liked". =)

Instead of some of the recommended routes, we decided to take the routes that would take us longer along the water. I would say that during the whole cycle tour a good 80% of it was within a view of some kind of canal, sea, lake or river, and if we could help it, this day would be no different.

... Brussels around 430. Again we arrived in the dark and drizzle but our hotel was so cool! After the "free" tour everyone (about 30 ppl) tipped Billy about 10 euros, however being the poor student I am I only gave him 2 (even though I think it was worth at least 5, I just didn't have enough change). I didn't feel too bad though, ...

A day at the beach

... a bit. With just the slightest pressure, the horses took off. Now, I know how to ride a horse, but that was certainly unexpected! Almost at the same time, Sarah and I both half fell off the horses and were trying to keep up with their trot with one leg still on the horse and one on the ground. By the sound of Joan's roaring laughter, I just knew we looked like comical fools trotting down the street half on our ponies and half running, unable to stop ...
