... the cut! =) We of course, graciously accepted her offering. It felt like getting a medal for being "most liked". =)

Instead of some of the recommended routes, we decided to take the routes that would take us longer along the water. I would say that during the whole cycle tour a good 80% of it was within a view of some kind of canal, sea, lake or river, and if we could help it, this day would be no different.

... in good spirits considering their current success in the World Cup. Dienze was to be our last night under canvas. We shared the campsite with 3 retired Belgian cyclists and a resident family of ducks a ducklings. Between them they had managed to pack more onto their bikes than we had in our car.
