Today we purposely stayed off the highways, keeping to the more tourist friendly roads heading towards Stockholm. Drove through many quaint towns, acknowledging how much water this country has! Lakes galore.... On the way explored an 18th century style farm. Now like always we have found a fantastic spot to call home for the night, with superb lake side views. Enjoying a glass of champagne watching the sunset sharing it with perfect ...

      On a boat, Swedish style

We woke up to a very nice sunny day and after breakfast we boated around some islands fishing for seaweed! It was a good look around, the islands are very rocky over here. We also had a walk around some of the islands and saw some round holes that were drilled out of the rocks in the ice ages. ... of loops, twists and awesomeness. A ride to definitely go on. The giant drop was something I regretted as soon as I got on it. This thing takes you up 150m then lets you go in a free fall. Yep i think i can still smell poo, but the view of the city was amazing. So as the poo settled, we headed back to the Bjorklund Estate. As expected, a few more sherbets were guzzled and a relatively late night approached as the sun set before rising ...

      A Messy Exit

... but the skipper prevailed and at 11:00, having bought some nice bread and rolls and after a breakfast of croissants, c/o the new bakery on Utö, (nice but expensive, 150 SEK for 1 loaf, 4 rolls, 2 croissants and one Danish pastry), we started the engine and gingerly reversed/pulled the boat out between our neighbours and attempted to lift the Bruce anchor. It had done its' job, we were well and truly embedded. So much so that ...
