Before too long we turned onto a "white" road - still tarmac - and the centre line disappeared. We were in the real countryside with farmhouses, barns and implement sheds often right on the roadway which was a roller coaster ride, ducking and diving between the crests and dips.

Bo married Helene and Peter married the other Helen and they live in the same neighborhood and are still great friends to this day. We enjoyed a delicious fika smorgasbordout in the country and a lovely dinner at Helen and Peter's home. We really enjoyed spending time with all of them together.

As we travel across Sweden on our train, it has started to snow. It is coming down sideways and is heavy at some points. We are cosy inside.
