From Waterbury we traveled a short distance to Stowe, VT. It is a really beautiful town loaded with well kept inns and B & B's as well as ski resorts. There was an art fest just setting up in town and later today a balloon launch would take place. The art fest was a fleeting thought for me as we drove by and I knew we would be long gone before the hot air balloons launched.
