Our second stop was at the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry. WOW It is hard to describe the MASSIVE scope of everything here: the cranes, the depth of the granite, the beautiful blue water in the “hole,” the gigantic chunks of white granite to be shipped all over the world. See the picture!

We woke late Saturday after a very full week. We were looking forward to an afternoon balloon ride to view the fabled Autumn leaves from above. Sadly, this was not to be.
