    The bodies are starting to creak

    ... lane along the Beauly Firth which was glistening in the sunlight. The rest of the journey was along beautiful roads which overlooked the sea near Dingwall until we reached Tain which was covered in a thick blanket of sea fog.

    The hardest part of any ride is the first 2 miles but today the aches and pains started and didn't wear off until much later in the morning. Just another 2 and a half days left!!

    Day 6 started slowly, as most were tired from last night. Short journey to Forres with all twelve teeing off from 9 am...
    Out with SA and IM again.... Had some good fun an we all played well. Mr Mac has rediscovered his form and was back to his better self on the course... On the second when I asked S if he wanted the flag in or out, S replied yes please!! Gonna be one of those days.

    ... so improvement always good.
    Spent some time appreciating silence and enjoying the view. PK is an interesting character and enjoyed sharing a buggy with him.
    The Judge swept the board with an outstanding first 12 holes...

    Challenging putting surface which made us look like beginners quite often...

    Back via Elgin and watched a bit of the England game.....

    ... in Helen and Sean, we had a few drinks together then Sean says we're leaving cheers and he's taking us on a local pub crawl! We go to their soccer club, where we are the only ones in the club at the time, I also swear there was only a back door entrance.     John grew up in Forres and Elgin and we decided to go back to see how it had changed and to look up some old friends. It was a great time catching up and with all the talking we forgot to take any photos! It was also lovely to drive around the small fishing villages on the coastline though some of the roads were still closed due to flooding from the recent rains!
