... as good as I remember in our last trip, we will have to bring some more of those home with us! We came back to the hotel for a siesta and headed out again after 9 to Dickens Pub to get a bite to eat and see a local jazz group play. We had hamburgers which were good and paid a $50 cover charge for the show. The music was excellent - 2 guitar players, a drummer and a vocalist. They played some local folk music and enjoyed it very much. One of the ...

It is now time to pack away the cold weather clothes and brace for high temperatures. One particular presentation today was really inspiring. It was an honour to listen to Laurie Dexter, the team historian, talk about the first group to walk/ski across the Arctic. ...

... each estancia, or farm. We've made it to Patagonia. There are no people here until we arrive at Comodoro Rivadavia, a kind of working man's town with lots of hustle bustle on the main street. Petrolium is the game here. There's little else as the land is just big hills of gravely dirt.
So we took the bus down the coast to Rada Tilly, the nearest tourist town. It has a very wide beach and, this being Saturday, there was a big rugby tounament going on ...
