... Quarter and the very poignant line-of-shoes memorial along the river bank where hundreds of Jews were murdered by forced drowning during the Nazi terror.

Our boat did a late night river cruise so we could enjoy the city lights and it was a great way to end our cruising experience. This morning we are leaving for Prague in about 30 minutes time. I will post this blog and add pics later.

... with Laci all in Hungarian earlier in the day in order to get our suitcases from the locked shed, so it was my turn to speak when we got to the train station. I managed to interact with the woman mostly in Hungarian, but I didn't understand when she was asking if we wanted a family ticket, until she said "family" in English. I know that word too! Csaladi. ... a real drama. Max is nice and he settled us in. I just went outside to take photos of the apartment and it is starting to spit. The max today here is 19°. My head is a bit funny. It feels like I have motion sickness, a little like I've been on a boat so I'm putting it down to the rocking of the train. ... amp; pinnacles etc on Rakoczy avenue. This area must have avoided war time damage - we walked down this way and then turned right to loop around and walk over the Chain Bridge. This took about an hour with all the stopping and looking around. Dawdled along the south bank of the Danube, narrowly avoiding being knocked over by a flying push bike about 20 times. Bike riders rule over here.
