The John Deere World Headquarters is situated on 1400 acres of beautiful parkland in the middle of Moline. The farm lad around the area had more then double in recent times it's now worth $12000.00 an acre for Dryland corn country, hmmm not worth this down home no wonder the farmers here can afford to buy John Deere ...

Today we visited the John Deere seeder plant. We took a tour of the factory, where they make, assemble, and repair seeders. They make many types and sizes of seeders there, from small 4-ro seeders to 24-row ones. All their seeders are custom made, when a farmer orders them. They produce about 38 seeders a day, or 19 per shift. We also saw the John Deere pavilion, where we got to see some of thir other tractors, combines, ...

Stopped at a Resort Parks International (RPI) Park overnight - probably one of the nicest places we've ever been - and only $10 a night!
