... we toured the site on the Missouri river where Lewis and Clark stopped going and coming from their expedition. Our final stop was the Glore Psychiatric Museum. It is one of two museum in the country that illustrates the various techniques used to treat the mentally ill. Such treatment include, hot and cold beds, isolation, chains and lobotomies. Tomorrow is the Arabia Steamboat Museum.
Nothing like starting the day with a wine tasting. We were the first to arrive for the 9:00 am opening. Beachaven is a quaint little winery and vineyard in Clarksville, Kentucky that was doing a brisk business by the time we left. We crossed the Ohio River at Paducah, Kentucky into Illinois. ... sight. Another day we drove into the quaint little town of Weston. We found some unusual shops and the Pirtle Winery. The pool was great (finally a pool warm enough for the Floridian in us to get into) and Rocky loved all the green grass.

Bell Hall (the center piece of the Fort and the building where CAS3 and CGSC classes were held) had been torn down and the Lewis and Clark Center had been constructed - a huge multi winged building! Also, the old Disciplinary Barracks (the Army's Penitentiary) has been replaced with a new facility. The old facility is now office space.
