On Friday, Katlyn and I met up with a couple of other friends for Tea at a place so uniquely named, Tea. Then we made the trek up to Abbey Road to see the place where the Beatles recorded some of their albums. Just as well it was still there, that was my €180 leather hand bag. So in total since I got picked up at the hotel to when I got dropped off at the hotel we did a total of 4686kms London to London. Thursday/Friday 13th / 14th December I had been sleeping on my grey jumper for a week, awaiting the salary I needed before I could get a pillow. I had the money already no doubt but I was being amazingly sensible when it came to the money-department, I had to think about upcoming fees such as dental care, the Dutch tax-receiving still had to be closed and paid back and there was the possibility that I would be enrolling for some evening courses in January. ... to stay Down Under long term, but then I have no real plans to come home either. I'm just going to see what happens or how long the money lasts, for now looking at 4-6 months. I quite fancy working abroad, Dubai or Europe, I have a possibility of IT contract work in Christchurch, NZ or I might do some VSO work back in Africa. Who knows? Well not me at the moment. The flight back was not too bad considering it was Easyjet, always a bit cosy but it seemed to go pretty quickly and i didnt struggle too much from the night before, unlike steve who seemed to struggle the whole way!!
