    ... we saw an absolutely spectacular sunset on the way and eventually arrived in Stockton at 20h00 or thereabouts and were welcomed by the fantastic smell of cooking meatballs, beans and corn - all of which was demolished by 6 very hungry Payne's.     I just finished filling my pack and am astounded to find that it only weighs 25 lbs. My camelbak is empty, but still, I was prepared to carry as much as 35 if it came down to it.
