This [extended] weekend, we're staying in a wonderful little motel--family owned, specializing in extended stays. So we have a little kitchenette, and a separate bedroom. How refreshing it is to say "Hey I'll be in the other room"

It was hard to say it and then make myself walk out of the room. He was so sincere and really did not think it would bother me. Oh, this is not fun. Still, I'm nervous that I've forgotten to pack something very important (as usual). When I visited school this past week, a friend of mine told me to "whip those Africans into shape". I'm pretty sure the Africans will be the ones whipping me into shape, and I couldn't be more excited about it. It's been a long, busy, stressful summer, so I'm ready to get away and exploooore!
