... we went to Bled which was amazing. From the castle you could see the entire island and the lake surrounding it. Then from the ground the castle looked so beautiful. It was such a unique and beautiful place. We walked through the castle that is now a museum and see someone use a printing press. It was cool.

Woke up this morning exciting to go rafting and headed to Bohinj but unfortunately, due to the large amount of rain the last couple of days, the water levels were too high and dangerous. But it was such a beautiful and sunny day so we decided to do a big hike instead and set off in the car to a different area of the Triglav National Park.

Had a buffet breakfast from Alexsh at our B&B (again probably overdid the face stuffing) so headed to the lake to walk it off. Did the circuit all around the very picturesque setting and then took the trail to hike up to the castle. Up early-ish we took full advantage of the massive buffet breakfast which welcomed us in the hotel restaurant. After stuffing our faces with the cold stuff, hot stuff and pastry stuff; we proceeded to then stuff our bag with some sandwiches, biscuits, pastry and fruit items for later (c'mon, everyone does it!! we even spied the lady on the table next to us doing it too!)
