5am and we're wide awake in downtown LA!!!!! Headed here from the airport yesterday and found ourselves a room for the night with the US equivalent of Basil Fawlty!!!! Did a bit of walking and then had a few Beers and a steak! LA downtown is really classy!!!!!!! Apart from the 300 people that asked us for coffee and nickels!!! Goodbye Hotel Shitsville.....next stop Hollywood!!!!!!!

... a nice breakfast, walk or sit around, watch the dolphins fly, peoplewatch and go offshore when the ship docked. Before we know it, it's time for lunch, then dinner, and finally the nightly show. We ended each day by sitting in one of the lounges for a drink listening to some music before finally retiring to our cabin. Our days were filled yet there was no rush or pressure. It was a vacation in the real sense.
