Disney Magic Morning
... shirt or something but full on pirate outfits, Captain America’s, ghosts, you name it, there was one. They have a bit of an obesity issue here and it’s not surprising when you see the number of booths handing out sweets within Disneyland. At least they make them walk to the next booth (about 50 steps) rather than delivering them by some cart or mobility scooter. There are tonnes of mobility scooters in the parks, not sure ...
Universal Day!
... beds (I nearly told him, yes all hotels do that - but he seemed so happy!) He wants me to write, even though we haven't seen the main part of Hollywood - or even the sign yet, that he LOVES Hollywood.
And lol, our elevator in our hotel has a big red stop button like in Private Practice. Me and Rich joked about stopping it to have an elevator moment like they do on the show! (You'd probably have to watch the show to get what we mean!)

City of Angels
... was a ferris wheel virgin so I talked him into doing these two rides! It was a very tame coaster ride that lasts for all of about 10 seconds. No upside downs, steep drops or swirlies at all. The guy operating even let us go two times around because it was that lame. The two people behind us where screaming their heads off and when they got off I heard them say it was the best EVER ride they had been on. But novelty is what counts! We walked the pier. Got the snaps. And ...
We're on our way......
... and will learn so much from the beautiful, humble people of Guyana.
So last night we left the Auckland winter to the farewells and prayers of Beth & Doug, and Matt & Jomine, arriving into the heat and long queues of LAX. From here we fly on to Miami where we have a 10 hour stop-over. It is a good time for our head to get into the space of this new adventure.....
