Our final day in LA we went to Knotts Berry farm for rollercoaster fun before we leave for Vegas. Lots of rides, a day where we went home feeling a bit sick, even manager to get Elly going upside down backwards at one point which is an achievement as she was adament of never going on a ride like that!! We ordered in a massive pizza that night with a couple of beers as we had to get up early for the drive to Vegas...

... in LA which is a motel near Santa Monica Beach. We will be there for 2 nights so will be a nice break from the city life. On the way to Santa Monica we're gonna stop at Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills (window shopping only, especially with the backpackers budget!)

From Santa Monica we will continue our road trip along the Californian coast. Just over 1 week left in the US before we fly to New Zealand...

... into the ether somewhere. Took a cab into Hollywood in the evening to see Walk of fame and the nightlife. Visited Universal Studios and Disneyland and enjoyed ourselves especially on the more thrill seeking rides. Couldn’t get over the queues at Disneyland, waited an hour for one ride as had not quite mastered the art of obtaining the fast pass. Next time!!!!!!
