The reason that I was in Duisburg is because Tante Emilie died on Monday and the funeral or Beerdigung was on Thursday. On Sunday we had a wonderful brunch with all the family in Duisburg at Willi and Marita's house. There were around 20 people invited and we ate everything from green pesto cheese to bread rolls and enough sliced meat and salads to sink a ship! Unfortunately it was raining so we had to eat inside the garage, but we had enough tables and chairs for everybody. The kids enjoyed running around in the backyard and kicking the football around.
