I'm writing this in that post wedding daze. I've had it before. Each time a close friend gets married it's like I'm in a stupor for days afterwards. I'm sure I relive the highlights as often as they do! That roller coaster of emotions I feel throughout (but like in the Cheryl Cole song, they're only up emotions), spending time with old and new friends and the joy at seeing those whose wedding it is be so unreservedly happy blows me away every time. However, me being me, I wanted to try something different so I got mussels. Being a town closer to the coast, that sounded at the time to be an appropriate choice. I thought I would have a little pasta with some yummy sauce and a small garnish of mussels. I was wrong. ...

... Bay instead.

Great to see so many Hardmoors friends as we got ourselves ready for whatever the day would bring. Andy was marshalling at Ravenscar where we would come through twice. He's working really hard to get his Achilles sorted and has to by May when we do the Hardmoors 160!!

A quickish race brief and we were off. The rain had gone and we headed up the Cinder path towards Whitby. Sheltered at times but the wind soon wobbled you when the gust ...
