... boats, old cars or a steam bus. Too cold for the boat and the car was just driving off. The steam bus looked a bit like Bertie from Thomas and Friends so on Elizabeth the only operating steam bus in the world we climbed. Seated on old bench seats the bus built up steam and took us around unknown parts of Whitby which we still don't know as the 20 minutes involved the bus drivers wife explaining her husbands love of steam and trains and how the bus came to be on the roads. ...

... both our openers retired on 50, Jack batted at 3 and smacked a 4 off his first ball but then got caught behind, that the second time he's done that damn it! We finished our overs on 3/172, pretty happy with that! Their big kids started batting and weren't a problem! As we had to buy a yearly pass to Beamish and the girls loved it so much, we decided to go back there again.

On the way we passed a town called 'Leeming'. This is my mums maiden name. Quite a different surname let alone a town name, so we thought we would stop off and take a photo for Nanny.
