... location of the train station in Baden-Baden is a bit unusual as it is about a 20 minute trip via bus or taxi to the main part of town. I opted for bus service since the fare was also included as part of my train ticket and the hotel was only about a block from the nearest bus stop. ... bonus €5 in our pockets we headed for the campground shop, 2 bottles of beer and a fruit based drink for the lady. As well as the swimming ponds there was a fishing pond also, leaving Nikki sunbathing at the tent I headed off to investigate, and cash in on more cheap drinks. ... except for my bathing suit and tank top, which I was wearing....yup I did it again. But I walked back to the hostel, got changed, made calls and went out. I found a neat bar with some crazy waiters. I chatted with some of the locals thought there was a bit of a language barrier and I discovered that in Germany you can get booze in "to go" cups - beer, hard liquor, anything. I will have to keep that in mind for later.
