Since today is Sunday basically everything is shut down or closed. I mean hardly anything is open on Sunday at all. Very few restaurants and basically not stores open. We walked around the Lucerne city with the lake and the mountians as a backdrop. We had our own little agenda to eat ice creams, do some people watching and check our the ...

When we were in Paris the guide explained that the Arc d' Triompe serves as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and that the French Army conducts a service there every evening at 6. My American friend remarked at this that "his family must be so proud!"
