    ... out of this town for the train system east west and north south tracks. We stopped and had some hot chocolate and pasties as a lunch. Since today is Sunday basically everything is shut down or closed. I mean hardly anything is open on Sunday at all. Very few restaurants and basically not stores open. In train stations have more open for travelers but the towns are like ghost towns. Very eerie!! We arrived to Aarau with no problems and fairly quickly for 58km ...

    ... watch the dogs roll around and play in the snow. This place was packed with Asian tourists who do not like to wait their turn in line (they try to cut and say “sorry” and smile at you like you shouldn’t care and jump right in front of you to take pictures…its so weird). They were freaking out on the ice and slipped easily. They don’t care if they get in the way of someone else’s photo and they came in bigass tour ...

    Sunday is definitely family day out. Many families, or Dad's seem to take their kids to the park where they play on the equipment, play giant checkers, darts or one family even had a game of shuttlecock happening. We even saw couples and groups of teenagers playing cards in the park. Perhaps something can be said about no Sunday trading.

    ... were spectacular. The clouds floating like an artificial carpet made the views even more amazing. We had a few snow fights and tried to unbury our legs walking through some areas trying to get pictures and then walked up to the very top of the mountain. I can see why Queen Victoria loved the views from Mt Rigi so much.

    After soaking up the views and sunshine for a few more hours, we got the train back down about half way and ...

    ... through the first step, which is the biggest step, now it’s just a question of being approved at the embassy, and then I’m off to Central Asia.

    It may be a few days before my next blog entry. Thanks for reading, I hope you continue to enjoy. I’ve appreciated all the comments I’ve been receiving! Hopefully the pictures have been turning out okay and add something to the blog.
