It was here that the first skyscraper was erected, early in the 20th Century, and the Willis Tower, formerly the Sears Tower, was the tallest building in the USA until recently (the Ground Zero tower in NY now claims this statistic). ... We were waiting and waiting, and then realised just as our names were being called that our gate had changed from gate 9 to gate 10!!! So even though we were probably close to being the first passengers for our flight to arrive at the airport, we were close to being the last passengers on the plane!! Still not late though!! Our flight took off on time so still a smooth sailing day so far. The flight was 4 hours and 15 minutes, and we lost 2 hours, so ...
