    ... planted in the Venetian rule. Again another day to be 38 degrees! Beautiful weather. We catch a shuttle bus in to Corfu. It has a unique atmosphere and a fascinating blend of architectural styles.     We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
    The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

The dashboard light was really bright even after Kirk lowered it so I used my visor to cover the dash light so I could see the ocean ahead.
