The train ride from Basel to Interlaken was simply stunning. It is real picture post card stuff. The train ride runs along the shores of miles and miles of lake views. The lakes are crystal clear. I can see the details of the texture on the small stones in the shallows from the train and it is like an enormous sheet of glass spreading out as far a the eye can see.
