    Around the M25, on to the M27 and arrived at the Chunnel before we knew it. Have downed countless cups of coffee and eaten shoddy services cuisine we where please to final get underway.     There was a bit of a festival or get together at the head of the lake. The locals were cooking sausages and serving melted cheese on bread. It looked yummy but we didn’t have any cash. They also did some folk dancing and the men did a march ringing massive cow bells – not quite sure what that was about. Mike had some cash and ended up getting a German sausage to share – we had a few bites – it was yum!

    ... for 2 and a half hours then followed the tour signs around the centre at the top. We saw the panorama first which was just a bunch of screens around you with a mini movie on.     We both agreed this was a definite “must do” for the area.

    From Basel we returned back to the main railway station in Zurich and interchanged again to venture south in the direction of Lucerne. We had begun to notice that the Swiss trains we had taken so far were all impeccably on time; they are not early, and they are not a second late; it is very impressive.
