Fantastic drive through Provence then past Monaco, Nice and all that expensive real estate. Whizzed past and into Italy. Amazing autostrada of tunnels and viaducts. We must have travelled 100 kilometers without travelling on flat ground. The road is either in a tunnel or on a viaduct. The night before leaving Vernazza I was on the phone to Australia organise pick up in Imperia! It was very funny and in the end we got off at the wrong train station as Imperia has two train stations. One just outside and one in the town centre, we realised this when we were on the train but didn't know which one was closer to family!
