    Last day and Chrissi packs while I run up town to do a few last minute things ...i walk her to the bus to farewell my fello traveller ...she's off to Barcelona ...then Paris ...go girl !! Then... It's just me ...I cruise the streets of Juan Les Pins for one last time before I leave tomorrow ...lunch could be in order ...oh duck breast ...gotta say ...big ducks ...

    ... It was lovely chilling out reading a book and having calypso ice lollies :) at about 5pm we headed home we stopped at a local market to get something for dinner- the guy didn't accept any cards only cash and after having ice lollies we had about €12 to get some food... Si chose the beer first (priorities) which left us with about €7.. I got some salad, sausages and a melon.. Looks like pesto pasta, ...

    ... for the pizzas. No complaints about the dinner though, both of us were well fed and we finished off the rest of the beer in the fridge. That definitely means we need to do a shop tomorrow so we can keep fully watered... Then it was time or bed, it's gonna be a hot night, it's about 11pm and 24 degrees outside much hotter than that in the van, fingers crossed for a good nights sleep but I'm not convinced it's going to happen, we definitely need a pop top!! ...

    ... We bowled into a campground and there was one space left right by the beach. What a crying shame. It didn't take us long to back in and then jump into the sea to cool off.     ... house in the hills surrounded by olive trees and a small orchard. Sue presses her own olive oil that is so good I could just drink straight from the jug. There are homemade preserved lemons, pickled garlic, preserves the list goes on and on. We cook in an outdoor oven or a homemade brick BBQ. My favourite on the first evening, a delicious Parmagarno, the days that follow, meals just roll out like 5 star menus;
