Although we did not get to see them, there are the remains of a 4th century Temple on the acropolis of Lindos and from here you can see St. Paul's Bay where he is said to have sought shelter during a storm. Down to the old city and we walked along the pebble paved streets to the Palace of the Grand Masters. This was built in the 1400s and destroyed in ...

We walked around the old town of Rhodes for a few hours in the morning. You can easily get lost in the winding streets, many of which are partially covered by what looked like buttresses from the walls of the city. ...

... Saimeh's brother Sallem how to swim. Our much needed lazy day was wrapped up with a delicious dinner of Greek meze on my part, and German schnitzel on Marc's. Weirdo. From friendly, family owned Avli restaurant we received a delicious meal, free dessert and an overview of life/seasons on the island.

Our final day in Rhodes was spent ripping around in a rental car (Pan #2). Lalyssos, while cheap, does not have the best ...
