Departing Greece - Patra

A travel blog entry by plimmerton on Oct 16, 2015

We arrived at the Patras Port expecting to buy a ferry ticket for a crossing in the next day or so. However we found out that if we went straightaway there would have a number of benefits. ... between us. And it was sensible priced as well.

Then we forged off east, in a challenge to Paul's navigation skills as we threaded our way through tiny villages south and east around the large Peneios reservoir. It's accurate to say that at one point we ended up completely lost - but also, by some miracle, exactly where we needed to be! In a nameless village, a kindly gentleman noted out confusion, asked where we were going and gave us ...
