... to ourselves which we lay across and slept very well. After 6 hours the ferry filled up but we slept very well up until we arrived in Bari. On arrival in Bari we took a bus to the train station and then a train to Casserta. In Casserta we took another train to Naples.

We arrived in Naples to find that the buses and trains had stopped running to Sorrento for the night and we had no option but to take a taxi there for 100 euros. Our taxi driver was very nice and ...

... Trying to take a nap on a bunk, I felt as though an earthquake was taking place every two minutes...
After some time had passed, I gave up the thought of sleeping and went to the deck with some other guys. All you could see was darkness and the lights of the land in the far distance. The only nice thing was when we arrived to Kerkyra (Corfu) and we saw the island at night. That was certainly impressive!

Then we forged off east, in a challenge to Paul's navigation skills as we threaded our way through tiny villages south and east around the large Peneios reservoir. It's accurate to say that at one point we ended up completely lost - but also, by some miracle, exactly where we needed to be! In a nameless village, a kindly gentleman noted out confusion, asked where we were going and gave us ...

We bought tickets to Pyrgos which cost less than 9 Euros and took a two hour bus trip. Pyrgos looked so much nicer than Patras which is definitely a Port town. We bought a sandwich in Pyrgos and some coffee and they were both so good. We ate them on the bus to Olympia while we enjoyed the view. We love these Greek busses with air conditioning and lovely food at all the stations. We arrived in Olympia at about 10:15 and it was so so so hot. We ...
