... to show that in front of Ellie! Some sections were actually pretty tricky... Graded 3 out of 5 ... Not bad for first timers!! She was very glad we had gone with a guide and we hadn't tried to attempt it alone. The view at the top was great and we enjoyed a hot chocolate in the cafeteria before walking back down to the Cable Car and zooming back down to the village. Yippee!! We are here in Italy in the Dolomites. Campsite No 4 is called Miravelle and it's in a pretty little village called Campitello Di Fassa. It's a lovely site, again very clean and well presented. The location of it is amazing - we are in the bottom of the valley with the mountains rising up all around us and loads of trees too. Traffic lights, junctions, shops, schools... ...

Today we took a trip up from 262m above sea level (Bolzano) to 1220m above via cable car. The photos unfortunately do not do the views justice. We spent a few hours wandering along amazing walking paths. This is a place that deserves a few days stop in anyone's itinary. We bought return cable car tickets and turned down the add on of a train ...

... rocks go for miles and miles. The ski lifts go right up over the rocks and are so high off the ground, the ride would not be for the faint of heart. The rocks are a white and light brown color with little to no vegetation on most of them. From below the jagged rocks look razer sharp so I can't believe what they would look like up close.

It was quite cold at the summit with another ski lift going even higher to the tip top ...
