... 233; Krumlov. Again, beautiful countryside, small villages and lots of back roads. This was the first real day since day 1 that we copped a few hills, and we used them as training exercises for later in the trip, and tried out a few techniques to decide what would work best with the bikes. The best technique seemed to be the one where we did not die half way up the hill. One of the hills was probably very unnecessary as we went ...

... on-the-go repairs. Fortunately with a quick adjustment of the gear guide, we were on our way with Rob thinking it was the best the bike had performed, Lots of small villages and open fields, it was a very cold start to the morning. ... little hard to focus on mass in another language with so much architecture to look at and the organ and music so rich. On a tour a little later in the day our guide filled us in on the town history and then a visit to the 13th century castle from which you have magnificent views of the town not only from the windows but from the bell tower. There is a Rococo theater and chapel, a lavishly decorated ballroom and very well maintained ...

This tiny town lives just a few hours outside of Prague and is a really sweet place. When we arrived it was raining and a bit cold. Our hostel was really cool, it is like a big cabin house on the edge of the town with loads of beds piled in on different levels, a family room downstairs near reception where you could watch dvds and a little kitchen where we could all cook and hang out. We had 4 nights there due to busabout being so heavily booked on the buses out ...
