... factory where we bought lots of biscuits. On the way home Ursula picked up a platter of hams. At Peter's we met Pascal and his girlfriend Annabelle. Aperitifs and nibbles on the balcony. For dinner we had the Ham, plus cheese, salads, Zopf, raspberry mousse etc... To much to ...

Day 10. Cycling, hopefully the last puncture.

... a cycling show somewhere.

So we jumped on a train and headed back to Solothurn. By the
time we found the cycle shop in Solothurn it was also closed, this time for
lunch. We settled down for a drink before returning to get the puncture fixed.
Day gone!!!

After lunch at camp we decided to go for a swim in the
river. The water must be about 18 degrees, very refreshing.

We arrived at our campsite, which is situated on the banks
of the Aare, in a miserable cold drizzle. However shortly after having set up
camp, the weather lifted and we were able to grab our bikes and ride into town

... Booking.com and off we went with my sister Denyse for a 5 days vacation in brilliant sunshine and temperatures up to 32*.
We visited many monuments, parks and museum using the double decker tourist buses and metro.The old coach museum was particularly interesting with their display of well kept coaches dating back centuries ago.
Back to Switzerland, I am getting ready for my next travel adventure to Croatia.

... enjoying the heat.

We found a local cafe and had a nice lunch, a pizza like meal – Leanne and I tried to guess the words on the menu before we read the English one, to get acquainted and ready for the German language.

It's getting exciting after coffee and iced tea (I seemed really thirsty with the heat) around 3ish, we take a taxi to the dock where our ship Viking Tor is awaiting us.
