Dear Friends and Family, Easy day today. Didn't go out till almost Noon and back by about 6:00. However, we still did lots of things. Our first stop was to see The Danube!! It wasn't blue today but it was still exciting to see it On our way back to the Underground, we met a lovely lady named Renatta who offered to show us "Sisi's" Church. Then we got dressed for our BIG. NIGHT!!!!!
We had a lovely dinner very nearby called Panorama and then traveled back into the City where we had dessert and "kaffee" before entering The Musikverein - Goldener Saal "Golden Hall".

We went to Lake Konnigsee today for a boat ride on this beautiful lake that is 8km long 11/4 kn wide and 602m above sea level. Steep cliffs on both sides. Made stops at St. Bartholoma and Salet. We walked to Lake Obersee. Saw 3 waterfalls...Konigsbach Fall, Schrainbach Fall and Rothbach Fall.

We took the train 4 hours to Berchtesgaden. I twisted my ankle before we left Regensburg and it swelled up, but not much pain. Iced it this evening and all seems to be ok. Arrived in Berchtesgaden about 1:30 and walked to the hotel which was very close to the train station. We had a delicious pumpkin soup at a local restaurant. We took free bus up to the center of town and walked around. Had pizza and spaghetti for supper. Bed early ...

the very tall mountains I could still see snow. We were dropped off at the Salt
Mine and had to change into ‘traditional’ miners outfits which looked more like
overalls that mechanics wear. I sat at the front of the little train carriage
then mum sat behind me and dad behind my mum. We had our photos taken then the
train driver took us through the mines and I could feel the temperature drop
