... caravans and motorhomes packed in very tightly. This is the resort suburb for Rostock, the much larger city 20km to the south.

The beach itself was very…beachlike. Lots of white sand and nice sized waves with just a 50 foot band of sea weedy water out to the clear swimming area. As there were no easily available changing rooms, we decided to enjoy the sunshine and sights and sounds, and spread our towel out to just ...

It's a sea day! A day of rest, and for me a day to get caught up on the blog some. Cathy and I both took advantage of the opportunity to lay around, to enjoy the balcony, and to prepare ourselves for the two significant events of the day…Cathy’s 'Spa day’ and our Chef’s Table experience.

... It's nothing to have entree, salad, soup, main & dessert. Granted the portions are small but delicious. I even had rock lobster bisque today. We spent the afternoon and evening discovering the boat. Tanja and I had to attend a emergency drill so we knew, in an extremely unlikely case of emergency, what to do and where to go. I went to the gym and mum and Tanja enjoyed coffee and a walk around the deck. We then got ready for the ...

    Meeting with Mum

... we grab our lunch packs from the kitchen, 2 breads rolls with salami, cheese and lettuce, a Ribena type of drink, banana and chocolate cookie and bravely decide not to take the U Bahn to the main train station, but took a Mercedes Taxi instead. Boarded the train at 8.45am to travel to Warenmunde to meet Mum for the start of our cruise. Mum was very happy to see us, as we were to see her. We spent the day walking around in the sunshine exploring the quaint streets of ...
