... to London on it with a trip from Central station to Frankfurt Hahn for €14. Frankfurt doesn't really change much at night same city just darker. It's not how I remember it but then I was on the outskirts and working. I like it more now and wandered through a couple of small parks earlier that were once again busy with people from all walks going about their ...

... After wandering round aimlessly, we decided on a place to eat and sat around soaking up the warmth catching up and sharing German spa stories. It was great to see some friendly faces to keep me awake until a reasonable hour. All too soon it was time to head back to the hotel, which was a nice walk in the evening warmth. End result was we are in our city hotel, 20 mins from the station with no car to hand back in... All good, so ...

We picked up our VW Passat at the airport and drove the autobahn to Freiburg (a drive of about 2 hours). Our GPS had been programmed to go to the Hotel Schwarzwald Hof. It got us to Freiburg very efficiently, but when we approached the hotel it just started sending us around in circles. We called Mary, who informed us that you can't get there from here—the hotel is in the middle of a pedestrians-only ...

... their baggage free of charge as it should have been from the beginning since the longest leg of the flight is with American Airlines and that's the baggage policy that should have been used in the first place. We all made it through security with 0 problems.... Except Mr. Ferraro, who got pulled aside to be interrogated about his iPad case. Before you knew it, we boarded our flight to London, leaving Germany behind. Almost all slept... And it was a bit of a bumpy ...
