... blue sky was showing Monday morning, so we hiked down the hill to the old town of Meersburg, a quaint old town on the lake. There are outdoor cafés all along the water front, as well as scattered in between little shops. We headed down towards Lake Constance as a stop off on our way to Munich, although we seemed to be positioned in a small gap between 2 permanent vans which people used as a walk through, it turned out not to be a bad position by the lake.
We cycled into the local villages around the campsite, but not a great deal to see apart from the views.
