    ... situated in the shadow of the castle. The waitresses were in traditional costume and the whole place was heaving. Finding myself a table with a view to the main square, and The Beautiful Fountain (no really, that's what it's called!) I tucked in to my 6mini Nuremberg bratwurst, sauerkraut and pretzel.     ... streets for just on three hours then caught the cable car up to the top of the hill and wow what magnificent views of the town and surroundings. Meandering around the very old core of this little village we found a Christmas shop and both Daz and I were in heaven.

    ... Sitting in the chapel was quite overwhelming knowing Luther had been in this very building. Just down the hallway was the 'Lutherstube' where he had spent many ours translating. It would have been cold, damp and lonely. His feet were supported by a stool made from a whale's vertebrae about as big as a normal size stool.
