    ... a huge centre to host these. It was never finished because the war broke out, and the place is now a listed building and houses a museum on the rise of the nazi party and ultimately it's fall. It's the kind of history that fascinates me, so I loved it!! I spent the rest of the day hoping from one thing to another.     After our start in Mainz, Hannes and I had a long drive to Hamburg. We started quite slowly with a detour to Hannes' dad where he had forgotten a memory card.     ... Sitting in the chapel was quite overwhelming knowing Luther had been in this very building. Just down the hallway was the 'Lutherstube' where he had spent many ours translating.
