Not much to blog today except that I managed to find the Singapore GP
on the TV. Unfortunately on a German station but at least I managed to
watch it at least.

Can't remember if I mentioned on the diving days I spotted an Osprey
nest on one of the marina entrance marker bouys. On the second day
both Ospreys were standing together ...
El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustypro... and did all the research we possibly could to find another means of transportation to Sharm el Sheik or Dahab. People in town weren't much help asthey had no idea that there even was a ferry!!! there were no more ferry companies that we could call (How do you have just 1 ferry going to Sharm el sheik!!) so we went to the bus station to ask if there was a bus straight to Dahab; there was. ut it was at 10:30 at night, so we had to hang out in Hurghada for the day. We made our ...

El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustyproWow and wow again, that diving lark was spectacular. I saw all sorts
of tropical fish including scorpian and lion, rays and moray eels, BIG
moray eels. Plus I got to swim with Nemo, a couple of clown fish came
up and said 'hi' it was truly amazing.

Had a Dutch instructor called Zietza who was just as crazy as his name
suggests but he was good ...
El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustyproDiving in the pool this morning was fantastic. Although I was a little
paniky at first I managed to do the basic skills like clearing water
from the visor and taking the regulator out under water without too
much of a problem. Was well impressed by having 8 wieghts around me
cause I thought I was quite heavy enough on my own, my instructor only
had 4! But ...
El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustypro... 000€ a month for crew
including someone to rake your wool pile carpet behind you as you walk
so it stays looking fresh. Then you still have buy the boat which
incidentally doesn't move much because of the cost of running it and
they are mainly status symbols.

One thing we did hear today is that El Gouna is ...
El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustypro... Oh and the boats
here in the marina are really cool, I have gotta get some photos of
those before I go.

The hotel is ok, room is clean, tidy and we have a view across the
marina and we got a cake delivered to the room for Meryls birthday
which is 4 days early but the thought was there.

Anyway, sleep time after a long days travel with 2 welcome meetings
tomorrow, woop de do.
El Gouna, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt rustypro... off the roof of the boat, which was a bloody long way and heaps of fun. We got lots of photos under water and of us playing on the boat. The water was so salty and was extremely easy to float in. Good for the few that could not swim. It amazes me the number of people around that can not swim. I could not live without the water!! Looking forward to hitting the lake with Bae and Kerto when I get home:) We were also line ...
Hurghada, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt stevencranston... had hated so much on the Khartoum/Dongola stretch of my travels. Again it cut 20kmph from my cruising speed and made the last 50km rather tedious. Must inquire into buying another 400cc or so for my engine. Hurghada is the Red Sea's Costa del Sol. I drove for perhaps 20km along the coast road and saw resort after resort. Very multinational. Lots of flesh, much of it red and much of it wearing speedos. Luxor is very ...
