... they did not know us and didn't know if we could sail so we kept on walking along the harbour. W then walked in to the center of Trogir a little bit more and found St John's cathedral. We all went in and decided to walk up to the top of the bell tower. The stairs went round in a circle and I got dizzy walking up them. Our final full day in Split (and with some threat of rain) was to be for visiting in detail the parts of the Diocletian palace we were interested in after our reading and reconnaissance 2 days ago. The big cruise and tour groups were out in force so we worked around this by an early lunch at a tiny cafe on the edge of the palace.
