After another night of continuous light rain and seeking some warm, I met the challenging of relighting the fire with wet wood. After walking around Pioneer Park, we headed for another must do item on our Fairbanks agenda. Chena Hot Springs.

The road to Chena Hot Springs is just north of Fairbanks and heads east up the Chena River. This is a heavily forested area. The previous few days have been rainy, which helped to put out a major forest fire that was threatening this area.
