We set the alarm for 5:30 because we want to have the motor home (with broken generator) at the repair shop at 8AM. A cold breakfast, walk the dogs, disconnect water and electric and head for the dump station to clean out the tanks. It has been raining off and on all night and today is not much different.

After walking around Pioneer Park, we headed for another must do item on our Fairbanks agenda. Chena Hot Springs.

The road to Chena Hot Springs is just north of Fairbanks and heads east up the Chena River. This is a heavily forested area. The previous few days have been rainy, which helped to put out a major forest fire that was threatening this area.
