... 5 cities we'd been to, with the same kitsch stores and throngs of tourists, I'm glad we are 'off the tour' and able to explore at our own pace, our own interests. The ABC tours and royal palaces are interesting but they don't give you any sense of the present day city and the life of its citizens. Day 3 20th July Went for my 5k constitutional around the decks ...

I woke up all congested and it got worse from there. I brought over a duffle bag from Christoffer's place, so I could put everything I need from hereon in there and stuff the rest into my big suitcase that Anneli. I tried to get up early to do this since I needed to take the commuter train and bus to Anneli and Victoria's before 2:30pm. Anneli sent me an amazing picture of the goodies she baked for Victoria's birthday fika. But I started feeling feverish and ...

... landed on 18 which nobody had bet on! Boo. Afterwards, I made some donkatsu (Japanese fried breaded, boneless pork chops). I made the sauce and also thousand island dressing for the side salad! I was so proud of myself!! To top it off, I baked cream puffs with chocolate cream filling. I got soo impatient as it was baking, but in the end they turned out great ...
