Mitch and I left for Crooked Creek Parking parking lot, Yellowwood State Forest, after work to drop my car off at the end of the trail, well 2 miles shy of the end. We got to Morgan-Monroe State Forest around 8:00 PM and setup camp at the campground. We were the only campers that night and was fortunately the only night we had rain.

We actually road walk a little too much near the end because the road we needed was not blazed, map marker #22. From map marker #22 to #23 there is zero blazes. We stopped only once while we were on US 46, not the safest walk or stopping point. We did notice a couple of places ...
... did not exist. We got to camp around 5:30 PM and did not have time for a camp fire. My spoon had broken the night before, thanks Mitch, so I had to borrow one from Ryan. The three of us fit into the the three man tent nicely and without any major issues.

... shelter was very nice and allowed us to dry off the tent from the night before. There was plenty of room for 8+ people but found ourselves being the only ones there that night. This was the only night we had a camp fire, about 4 hours worth. Pretty sweet setup.

Wednesday afternoon we visited this wonderful Kenyan orphanage. We basically held babies for hours. Pastor Janice is now the new director for this orphanage. We learned about how it was started and how it runs. We met a doctor who helped to start the pro life movement in Kenya. She runs a ministry that takes in pregnant single mothers. She loves on them and shows them the love of Jesus. Many of the women have given ...
