... sculptures - and crowds were enjoying skating at an outdoor rink there. Chicago is a very big, cold, & usually Windy City, but thankfully we didn't have the wind. We were told that the tee rapture had't risen above freezing for the previous two weeks. There are many very big modern skyscrapers and the skyline is quite impressive. It is very flat, and from the air it appeared suburban streets seemed to go straight for miles. I think they have a pretty good public transport system ...
