... most of whom are returned soldiers from WW2. There are also 700 soldiers buried from the wars in Iran and Iraq. The grounds are filled with beautiful gardens and flowering cherry blossom trees. The placement of the posts (headstones) symbolises soldiers marching in formation so are buried in formation. We visited the White House and had a group photo......too many things to see so couldn't stop for a cuppa with Michelle.....maybe next time :) ...
