... cold, lots of people were packed into the lobby between the museum shop and cafeteria. Plenty of outdoor seating, but minimal indoors - silly. Ellis island was also interesting - another self guided audio tour that explained the processes of immigration and grading of immigrants via the tests they underwent. ... Central was a hive of activity with people catching trains and plenty of tourists. It was interesting to find out some extra information of the Terminal when we did a walking tour with a New York Greeter Sammi on Saturday. A quick stop nearby at the public library and we headed south to check out window displays at Lord & Taylor and Macy's. L&T's displays are innovative, they're actually set up inside elevator boxes.
