... can finally say that all my stuff is packed away in a suitcase, duffel, and backpack. Not gonna lie I'm pretty impressed with myself. Six months of my life packed away into 3 square feet of space.
Tonight I head up to the cities. Take off is at 10:30 tomorrow morning. Less than 24 hours left in the States. Such mixed feelings right now, excitement paired with longing for home is not an ideal combination.

... a home designed for babies and children (up to age 14ish) who are HIV + (and have other conditions). There are currently about 68 children living in this "orphanage." When I visited the orphanage for a few hours back in March most of my time that day was spent with the littlest ones in the orphanage....as well as a couple of older kids that have disabilities so severe that they are not sent to the classroom.
... and he’s supposed to fly out that day. If the plane can’t make it to Windigo, he’s going to hike back across the island to Rock Harbor to catch it there rather than wait three days for the plane’s next Windigo landing.

It is a miracle that I finished packing already! I can't stop thinking about it though.. did I pack enough? Did I forget anything? I swear it's driving me crazy!
I spent the day so far sleeping in (since I have to be up all night..) and running errands. I'll be spending some quality time with family this evening and then off I go to start my adventure in China!
Being a complete travel noob, I didn't know I could pick my seats on the American Airlines website.. ...
